Puppy Dog Love

By: Jen

A child with emotions revealing.
A puppy is her last hope for healing.
She sees kids laugh and play
And wonders why life turned out this way.
Not that she's really complaining
She's always like it when it was raining.
But rain in her life is a different story.
Why can't her life be a fairy tail story,
Instead of this life of pain,
Where all attempts at help are vain?
But now this second chance at life,
Or will it be filled with more strife?
Will healing come from above
When she receives this puppy dog love?
